Ina-Garten
Ina Garten has been an acclaimed American cook book author for a number of seasons. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa and began its run in 2002. Ina started writing policies and nuclear energy papers to the White House. After initially finding the job intellectually stimulating and exciting, she soon became bored. Barefoot Contessa was then acquired. The store was very successful for 18 years, until she decided to let it go. Then she began writing her first cookbook. Other cookbooks followed, as did magazine columns. The Food Network TV show also debuted with great success. She sells many items, from the ingredients needed for cooking to kitchenware and storage. Ina she is a self-taught cook, has never studied at an institution for cooking or a hotel. Ina is known for her relaxed way of cooking and entertaining. Her most well-known recipes include simple recipes such as Skillet Roasted Lemon Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese made with beef Bourguignon, and the Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
