Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer, and actress who is famous for her performance as Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she launched her career as an actress on stage for Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. Then she performed in a variety of Broadway productions, before becoming big on the national theatre scene with Li'l Abner's in 1957. In 1957, she debuted her own album named It's time to Tina. Louise's debut appearance in Hollywood was when she played Griselda in God's Little Acre, which was a 1958 romantic drama. The film received widespread applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award under the New Star of the year category. This time she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. In 1964, she won her next notable role when CBS hired her to play Ginger Grant. Louise did not stop juggling her work from Broadway as well as Hollywood acting in more dark characters as opposed to her perception of being glamorous. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she's also made an impact as a successful director in various well-known television shows including Supernatural in addition to The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on 28, August 1965 her family relocated to Toronto at the age of three. She spent the majority of her youth there before moving to Toronto for her adolescence. Then she settled in Vancouver following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter.
