Luciana was raised at home in Rome by her parents. Luciana's father was Manlio Paoluzzi an Italian army officer and her mom was Maria Rota Paoluzzi who was the one of Benito's lover's wives. Luciana does not have known siblings. Luciana has graduated from her local high-school in 1955 and went on to study naval engineering in Milan, at the Scientific Academy of Milan. Luciana was the only female of her class was the first to graduate. In two years, she began modeling. After a while, she was offered the chance to act in Three Coins in the Fountain when she was in Rome visiting the daughter of her father's friend. Brett Halsey was the first woman she got married to. He is an actor. They got married in 1960 and filmed the film Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana and Charles had a son who was named Charles 13 June 1961.
